On two separate occasions, I actually tried photographing that place when shooting for critique. Unfortunately there were too many things in the way to make it a good picture.
It's amazing how dead that area is now compared to how it was in 2007 and 08. The old vibrancy is lost; there are entire blocks where every single warehouse is out of business and 'for rent'. You know it's a bad economy when it affects Hialeah on such a scale.
George, you're so right. It's sad to see so many businesses abandoned.
