It's time again for our game "Latino or Americano?" All you have to do is guess if the house pictured is owned by a Latino or an Americano. Ready? Set? Guess!

I say American. Boy does this house need a new paint job. But the shutters (and no bars) on the windows lead me to say American. Plus, there's grass.
The barrel roof could mean that it was a Latino home for a bit but they didn't get to finish it before selling back.

Americano. No bright house color, no fountains, statues, and no bars on the windows. It just can't be a latino!

BTW, do you post every post the answer on these quizes? lol!

I'm bucking the trend and saying Latino. The grass is cut as short as possible, with no regard to how it actually looks. The kicker though is the sheer laziness of not removing the plywood after hurricane season.

Anon, we post the answers to the quizzes at the end of every post. It usually takes a few days so everyone has a chance to participate. You have to check back.

But all Latinos, except for the Spaniards, French, Portuguese, and Italians back in Europe are Americanos. Remember, America in Spanish means from Alaska to Argentina. So, the answer is both.

I say USA-born ... how bout that Mamey? You make a very good point that folks always forget. I suppose we could say Norte-Americano perhaps! One thing is for sure, it's a fixer-upper and probably will sell in as-is condition.

Believe it or not, this one is LATINO all the way. They speak no english at all and have lived in this house for a while.
